These theories are based on the ways leaders’ behavior towards a team. The father of marketing Philip Kotler wrote in his book of Marketing Management about the above stated theories where he mentioned all the possible behaviors can be found in a leader.
Here let’s see what is transformational and motivational leadership qualities refer to.
Transformational Leadership:
The word “Transformation” refers to the “act of transforming” or “being transformed for betterment changes”. James McGregor stated that, “Transformational leadership occurs when one or more than one person engages with each other in such a way that the leaders and the followers keep raising each other to higher levels of motivation and morality”.

Characteristics of Motivational leadership are:
- Leaders who have good knowledge and skills
- Leaders with Good communication to the followers
- leaders who are confident enough to reach the goal
- Leaders with an insight vision
- Leaders with a boost in energy at work
Motivational leadership contains:
- Increasing effort every time to achieve goal
- Improving focus to the followers
- Enhancing persistence
- Driving creativity of the followers
- Aids Retention
Steps to motivate employee through Motivational leadership:

- Get them to a common culture, teamwork, social gatherings

- Clarify their Reputation, Threats, Transparency
