We all must have come across this familiar word called “ABUSE”. I am sure many of us know what it is or have a live example occurred in their lives or other’s lives. But there is a controversy or I say not very clear idea to many of us what and when we should call the situation as “Abusive”. For example, you are in a party and a glass of drink fell from a hand of a person on you. You can not blame that person abused you as the fact could be accidental. But yes, if it occurs more than a time with the same person then you can raise the word “abusive”. Another example is: Your Boss calls up says a lot of negative words about your daily work. Now you can not say “he abused you”. But if he calls and says bad and slang words to you, well…then IT IS ABUSIVE.
So, in simple words, Abuse is a word occurs in the situation when there is mistreat or misuse or ill-use of someone which could affect the loss of self respect and the victims totally get under controlled by the abuser. An abuser is the person who tries to abuse the victim by doing physical or mental torture and which detains the self respect of the other party i.e. the victim.

Verbal Abuse is that situation where the abuser verbally disrespect the victim with bad or slang words or any such sentences which could make the victim to loose his/her self- respect. For example: In a party someone says loudly some bad comments to you.
Psychological Abuse occurs in that situation where the victim gets attacked by the abuser mentally, and the abuser will manipulate the mind of the victim easily in the negative way he/she wants. Here the victim may get a long term negative impact about self. For example: A person regularly says a child that the child is a bad luck and whatever wrong happening in the city, is because of that child.
Physical or Sexual Abuse is easy to understand as the words themselves defining the meaning. The abuser when uses of force, painful acts, threats, to intimidate with another person are called as physical abuse. Sexual abuse is somewhat an advanced stage of physical abuse where the children and adults get assaulted sexually by the abuser.
